Common Questions

What is AI Park Guide?
AI Park Guide, formerly Pro Park Guide, is a free web app that helps families navigate Orlando theme parks. Instead of showing raw data, it gives you clear suggestions based on live wait times, walking distance, and your must-do list.
Is this app really free?
Yes. Park Mode basics are free forever — plus your first 5 AI-guided routes are on us so you can see the time savings before you decide.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use Park Mode without an account. An account enables saving plans to Trip History, syncing preferences, and managing subscriptions.
Which theme parks are supported?
We support Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and SeaWorld Orlando. We expand park-by-park as reliable live feeds are validated.
Is it safe for my kids to use?
Yes. We're designed to be COPPA-safe and avoid collecting personal info from kids under 13. This is a family planning tool — parents stay in control.
How accurate are the wait times?
We display posted waits from live park feeds and also compute estimated actual waits when available. Data refreshes every few minutes.
Does it work with Lightning Lane?
Yes. Our tools help you decide if paying for Lightning Lane and other priority access passes is worth it for your party, based on time saved vs cost.
Can I plan my itinerary before arriving at the park?
Yes. You can create a provisional day plan the night before using historical patterns, then the plan updates when live data is available.

Honest Comparison

AI Park Guide vs Official Park Apps

We are not a replacement. We are the missing piece. Official apps handle transactions — tickets, food orders, Lightning Lane. We handle the question they leave unanswered: "Where should we go next?"

Direction, Not Just Data

Every official park app does the same thing well: it shows you a list of rides and their current wait times. Some add a map with pins. Some let you filter by area or ride type. All of them leave the actual decision — "Which ride should we walk to right now?" — entirely to you.

That is where AI Park Guide starts. We take the same live wait-time data, combine it with your GPS-based walking distance and the rides your family marked as priorities, and surface one clear recommendation. Not a ranked list. Not a heat map. One answer, with a short explanation of why.

What We Intentionally Leave Out

AI Park Guide does not sell tickets, process Lightning Lane purchases, handle mobile food orders, or manage PhotoPass. Those are transactions — and the official apps handle them well. Duplicating that functionality would add complexity without adding value.

Instead, we focus entirely on the navigation gap: the moment between finishing one ride and deciding where to go next. That gap is where families lose the most time, burn the most energy, and feel the most overwhelmed. Closing it is the only thing we do — and we do it well.

The Best Setup: Use Both

We recommend keeping the official park app installed for transactions: buying tickets before your trip, purchasing Lightning Lane passes during the day, ordering lunch from your phone, and downloading ride photos. These are things only the official app can do.

Then open AI Park Guide in your browser when you need navigation help. No download required — it runs in any modern mobile browser. Ask "What's next?" and get a single, well-reasoned recommendation with a walking route. Follow it, skip it, or come back later. The two apps complement each other perfectly.

Think of it this way: the official app is your park wallet. AI Park Guide is your park compass. You need both for the best day possible.
